Terms of Use

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms explain how you can use A-Rage VR (a-rage.com) and what you can expect from us in return. We’ve written them in plain English so they’re quick to read. By using this site, you agree to them.

Who we are

A-Rage VR is an independent website covering virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality for players. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the people who run this site. “You” means anyone who visits or reads it.

We are not owned by, sponsored by or officially connected to any headset maker, platform holder, game studio or publisher unless we clearly say so on a specific page.

Using our content

Everything on this site is published for general information and personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to:

  • Read, share and bookmark our pages.
  • Quote short excerpts with clear credit to A-Rage VR.
  • Print or save a page for your own reference.

Please don’t:

  • Copy whole articles, guides or reviews and republish them elsewhere.
  • Present our work as your own.
  • Use our content to train, build or feed commercial products, datasets or automated services without our written permission.

Unless stated otherwise, the text, original images and layout of this site belong to us. Screenshots, logos, trailers and promotional art from games and hardware remain the property of their owners and appear here for news, review and commentary purposes.

No professional advice

Our guides, reviews and recommendations reflect our research and opinions. They are not professional advice of any kind.

VR deserves a specific mention here. Headsets involve physical movement, screen time and, for some people, motion sickness, eye strain or discomfort. Nothing on this site replaces the safety instructions from your headset’s manufacturer or the advice of a doctor. Always:

  • Follow the official health and safety guidance for your device.
  • Clear your play space and use boundary or guardian features.
  • Take breaks and stop playing if you feel unwell.
  • Check age ratings and manufacturer age limits before letting children use a headset.

The same applies to purchasing decisions. Our buying advice is a starting point. You’re responsible for checking that a product suits your needs, budget and setup before you buy it.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to get things right, and we correct mistakes when we find them. Still, VR moves fast. Prices change, firmware updates alter features, games get patched, release dates slip and compatibility shifts between headsets and platforms.

That means some information on this site may be out of date or incomplete by the time you read it. We don’t guarantee that every detail is current, and we may update, rewrite or remove content at any time without notice. For anything that matters to you, such as a price, a spec or a release date, confirm it with the official source before relying on it.

If you spot an error, we’d genuinely like to hear about it.

Tips, glitches and leaks

We sometimes cover in-game glitches, secrets, unlock tricks and unconfirmed industry rumors. A few ground rules apply:

  • Glitches and exploits are described for information. Using them in online or competitive games may break that game’s own terms of service. Whether you use them is your choice and your responsibility.
  • Rumors and leaks are reported as what they are. We say where a claim comes from and how reliable that source has been, and we don’t host or point to leaked files, builds or footage.
  • Third-party tools such as cheats, trainers or mod menus are not something we recommend or link to. They can carry malware and can get your account banned.

External links and third-party services

Some pages may reference or link to other websites, stores, platforms and services. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or the products they sell. Visiting them is at your own risk, and their own terms apply.

This site may also use third-party services, such as analytics, video embeds or advertising. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies.

Trademarks

Product names, company names, game titles and logos mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. That includes names like Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, Apple Vision Pro, Valve Index, SteamVR and the many games we write about.

We use these names only to identify the products and services we discuss. Their appearance here does not mean the owners endorse us or that we endorse them.

Acceptable use

We want this site to stay fast, safe and useful for everyone. When using it, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its servers.
  • Upload or spread malware, spam or harmful code.
  • Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy content in bulk.
  • Impersonate us or anyone else.
  • Use the site for anything illegal, fraudulent or abusive.

If any part of the site allows comments, submissions or messages, keep them respectful and on topic. We may edit or remove anything that is offensive, misleading, promotional spam or that infringes someone else’s rights. By sending us content, you confirm you have the right to share it and allow us to publish it on this site.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Limitation of liability

In plain words: this site is provided “as is”. We do our best, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or suited to your particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that results from using this site or relying on its content. That includes, for example, a purchase that didn’t work out, a game or device that behaved differently than described, an injury during play, lost data, or problems caused by a third-party site we mentioned.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can’t be excluded under the law that applies to you.

Privacy

How we handle any personal information is covered in our Privacy Policy, which you can find on this site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site grows or as our practices change. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms, so it’s worth checking back now and then.
