What you can play on Xreal Aura and Android XR glasses at launch

CONFIRMED

XREAL Aura, the first AR glasses running Google’s Android XR, is open for orders, and the launch software is taking shape around it. Fallout: Factions is the headline game, set for November, while a couple of other titles that were reported as day-one Aura games are actually arriving later than that.

What we know

According to Road to VR, XREAL Aura launched for orders on October 28, 2026, with pricing starting at $1,100 for a limited time. The first batch is slated to ship in mid-November to the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea.

Notebookcheck and 9to5Google report that Aura ships with over 150 made-for-XR experiences. Titles Road to VR names in the launch lineup include Nevatars, Fallout: Factions, Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars, Cubism, Chess Club, Simply Piano XR and ShapesXR. That covers a familiar spread for anyone who has spent time on standalone headsets: a puzzle game, chess, a piano tutor and a design tool alongside the bigger licensed names.

Fallout: Factions is the one most players will look at first. It is an XR take on the physical 1v1 tabletop game Modiphius released in 2024. Mirrorscape confirmed in a June 24, 2026 press release that it would launch alongside Aura this fall on both Aura and Android XR. Road to VR, citing Mirrorscape and Modiphius, says it is set for November 2026, timed for the mid-November shipments.

This is not a surprise addition. 9to5Google reported that XREAL confirmed the fall launch at AWE in June, opened $99 reservations, and named both Fallout: Factions and Project Hail Mary as planned titles.

Two claims floating around need correcting. Hexed Harvest and Idle Hero Drummer have been framed as part of Aura’s native launch lineup. The developer’s own press release says both dropped on Android XR devices on October 28 and will “follow shortly” on Aura. Games Market likewise reports the Aura release as coming “at a later date.”

The free multiplayer game is also not an Aura owner perk. Resolution Games’ press release describes Holochess as free-to-play on XREAL, with an optional $2.99 third faction. Asteroid, a single-user immersive film, is also free for Aura owners, though it is not the only free title available on the glasses.

What we don’t know yet

Road to VR gave no exact release day for Fallout: Factions, so “November” is as precise as it gets right now.

The studio says a Steam version is “coming soon,” but nobody has said whether it supports VR headsets. If you were hoping to play on a PC VR rig instead of glasses, that is still an open question.

There is no confirmed date for when Hexed Harvest and Idle Hero Drummer reach Aura. “Shortly” and “at a later date” are the only timing anyone has offered.

We also don’t have a full breakdown of the 150-plus experiences, so it is unclear how many are full games versus apps, demos or media.

What it means

If you ordered Aura, you can count on Fallout: Factions arriving around the time your glasses do, plus a lineup that leans toward tabletop, puzzle and productivity rather than action. Holochess gives you a free multiplayer option on XREAL, and Asteroid is a free extra, but they are different things and only one of them is tied to owning Aura.

The Hexed Harvest and Idle Hero Drummer situation is the bigger takeaway for anyone weighing a $1,100 purchase. Android XR software does not automatically mean day-one Aura software, so check each title’s own announcement before assuming it will be waiting for you on unboxing day.

Tabletop games feel like a natural fit for glasses that pin content to a real table. Whether that is enough to justify the price will depend on how deep these games go once they are in players’ hands.
